At the age of ten, Ty’s cousin, a clown and magician,
taught Ty the secrets of magic. Five years later a
magic store appeared in the neighborhood. That was
his new home for the next four years where he worked,
played and practiced. The Los Angeles Times featured
Ty in a full-page picture. At nineteen, he was accepted
into a prestigious program at the Magic Castle in
Hollywood for world-class magicians. He was trained to
be a professional and became both a performer and
lecturer at the Castle. Today, thousands of performances
later, Ty has a successful career he loves.
